QC Supply to Open Distribution Center in Sedalia

Economic Development Sedalia-Pettis County and The Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED) announced today (May 9) that QC Supply, an international distributor of agricultural goods, will open a new distribution center in Sedalia. The Schuyler, Neb. based company sells livestock equipment and supplies and provides installation of specific lines of products for livestock and poultry equipment. Mr. Lonnie Kitt is President of the company.

Mid-Missouri Outlaws Head to Sioux City This Weekend

The Mid-Missouri Outlaws will finish up their grueling three games versus the top three teams in the CPIFL this week. The Outlaws lost to the Wichita Wild 82-9 on Saturday, April 27, then lost to the Omaha Beef on the road on Sunday, May 5, 68-13. This week, the Outlaws travel to take on the Sioux City Bandits on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. The Bandits are currently tied for 3rd in the league with the Salina Bombers at 5-2.

Mules Golf Captures NCAA-II Super Regional Crown

The Central Missouri Mules fired a final round 285 on Wednesday to come from behind and win the NCAA-II Midwest/Central Super Regional with a three-round total of five-under par 859 at The Club at Strawberry Creek. Freshman Robby Hughey won the individual crown with a 13-under par 203.

Victory in Europe Day Remembered in Sedalia [PHOTOS]

May 8 is a significant day, although it may not be featured on every single calendar.  It is the anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, or V-E Day. This is the anniversary of the end of hostilities during World War II in Europe, which ceased in 1945. The Sedalia VFW recognized and thanked World War II veterans for their service today (May 8).

Lt. Governor Kinder presented the awards at a luncheon for the winners and their guests outside his office in the Capitol. Bail was nominated by Rep. Stanley Cox of Sedalia.

Mid-Missouri Outlaws Deafeated by Omaha Beef

The Mid-Missouri Outlaws traveled to take on the Omaha Beef on Sunday afternoon (May 5) and lost 68-13. The Omaha Beef charged out to a 15 point lead before quarterback Damien Dunning was able to find Marcus James open for a 10-yard reception for a touchdown. The Beef proved why they are the co-leaders in the CPIFL by holding the Outlaws scoreless until 11:59 was left in the 4th quarter and scored 40 more points of their own during that time.
