Are You Supposed to Tip at Buffets? [POLL]

A friend of mine just had an interesting thing happen to him the other day. He went out to eat at a buffet with his girlfriend. They were seated, given drinks, and had their plates taken away once while they were there. After they finish their meal, my friend's girlfriend tells him he has to tip. He said, "Well, they didn't really do anything besides bring us water when we got here, but that's fine I guess." So he puts down two bucks on like a $16 dollar check, but his girlfriend says he needs to tip a full twenty percent like normal, and nags him until he does.

Sedalia STING Unit Detectives Arrest Warrensburg Man on Drug Charges, Resisting Arrest

Detectives with the Sedalia STING Unit stopped a vehicle at 16th and Limit at 8:28 Tuesday night (Jan. 7) for careless and imprudent driving and an equipment violation. Upon contact with the occupants of the vehicle, a passenger fled the vehicle on foot and was pursued by the detectives and other officers. The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Darrell L. Perry of Warrensburg, was apprehended in the 1400 block of South Warren Ave. after resisting arrest and attempting to fight detectives and officers.
