Shutter Glimpses: A Photographic Exhibit Displays Sedalia’s History at the Katy Depot [INTERVIEW]

Sedalia has a rich, storied history that most of us in town are aware of, but don't think a lot about.  In fact, every day we probably go right by some of the landmarks and important sites in town that meant a lot to our forefathers.  Shutter Glimpses, a photographic art exhibit by Moonlight 10 Photography, will be displaying some of those images at the Katy Depot starting this weekend.

On Monday, March 24, the Sedalia School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Joseph Doyle as assistant principal for Smith-Cotton High School for the 2014-15 school year. Doyle will replace Ted Suhr, who is moving back into the classroom as an art teacher at Smith-Cotton Junior High.

The award-winning country music duo Florida Georgia Line will play in the Pepsi Grandstand with Colt Ford the evening of Aug. 13. This year marks the 112th Missouri State Fair.
