Five TV Shows That Should Take Place in Sedalia

I asked our listeners: if they could be a guest star on any TV show, what show would it be? I got some good responses, and some of the popular answers were Dukes of Hazzard, Sons of Anarchy, Friends and The Walking Dead. Which got me thinking that Walking Dead would be perfect if it took place in Sedalia. Which inspired me to make this list of the top five TV shows that should take place in Sedalia.

Rob’s Restaurant Reviews: The Sale Barn in Sedalia

I found a true hidden gem of the dining scene here in Sedalia. It's not fancy, but man, is it good. Serving what has to be the freshest meat you can possibly find, the cafeteria at the Sale Barn in Sedalia cooked one of the best burgers I've ever had in my life.

The Sedalia City Council Should Completely Ban Fast Food [OPINION]

The Sedalia City Council recently decided to uphold the smoking ban, which is necessary to protect the welfare of the public's health. The rights of the non-smoker have been up in flames until recently. Since Sedalia has eliminated smoking in public places, they should also eliminate other things in this town to make it more healthy for us all.

Where Will You Trick-or-Treat in Sedalia?

I just got some unfortunate news regarding the Sedalia Halloween this year.  I'm sure it won't be the end of Halloween as we know it, but it will certainly be something that will disappoint parents out there in our area. The Smith-Cotton DECA Trunk-or-Treat will not be happening.

Not All Veterans Agree With the President Bashing at Saturday’s Rally [OPINION]

Some veterans believe they speak for all veterans when they speak out against the president, but some of us have our own ideas of where the blame lies.

Huntin’ and Fishin’ with Harry Attends Sedalia Veterans’ Rally Protesting Government Shutdown

Well, it was a great Saturday (Oct. 12), showing support at the Sedalia courthouse and being a member of the 40 & 8.  I’m proud to say that I’m a veteran.  Now with that said, we held a veterans' rally at the same time the rally was going on in Washington D.C., where rally members picked up the barricades and carried them to the White House in protest of the shutdown of the memorials and the treatment of our veterans.

Huntin’ and Fishin’ with Harry Slams the Government Shutdown, Redneck Style [AUDIO] [OPINION]

Well, you know I don't keep my mouth shut, so I'm fixin' to climb up on a soap box. Okay, as you know, I am not an Obamunist, I am a God-fearing, gun-lovin' American that has heard enough of the BS. I hope that the Republicans (my party) stand fast and don't give an inch. Play the audio below to hear my thoughts on this government shutdown, and let me know what you think in the comments.
