100-Year-Old WWII Veteran Finally Gets His Free Haircut from Dick’s Barber Shop [PHOTOS]

Brian Dick of Dick's Barber Shop in historic Downtown Sedalia had to pay up a bet up to World War II veteran Walter "Mac" McBride. Mac has been going to Dick's Barber Shop for years, and when Brian's dad Frank Dick retired, he told Brian that he never once got a free haircut from Frank. This was about four years ago, and Mac asked Brian when he would give him one. Brian told Mac when he turns 100 years old, he would give him a free haircut.

Food Bank Drive Makes a Splash with Sedalia Pools [PHOTOS]

‘Making the Band’ Turns Up The Volume at American Legion Post 642 [PHOTOS]

You could hear the music all the way down Main Street as Making the Band 2013 had the American Legion Post 642 rocking on Saturday night. Justin Lawson has made "Making the Band" a huge success in Sedalia. Friends, family, and fans flocked to the American Legion Post for a day full of local music.
