March 20, 2013 One of my favorite holidays of the year is Easter. It brings back a lot of great memories. Being an Air Force Brat, I can recall doing a few Easter Egg hunts with the youth center or a few squadron parties or even at the base church. I also have the great memories of waking up on Easter Morning and seeing the eggs hidden around the house or in the backyard if the weather was good.

March 15, 2013 There are a lot of proposals that come and go in Jefferson City, and one that is gaining attention is one proposed by Missouri State Representative Delus Johnson, a Republican from St. Joseph. Johnson is proposing that Missouri should suspend the requirement of wearing a motorcycle helmet for bikers during the month of August.

March 12, 2013 March always is the best time of year for college basketball. While there is much attention devoted to the NCAA Basketball Tournament, there is also the National Invitation Tournament and the College Basketball Invitational. There are plenty of tournaments to go around in the post season.
One of the things I would like to see is a little in-state rivalry popup between the Missouri NCAA Division 1 teams. Can you even name the teams that fall in this category? Go ahead, I'll give you a second. I have to admit, I had to look it up to make sure I got them all.
