Charles Arthur "Art" LaClair, 63, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia, MO. He was born on November 27, 1951 in Taft, California, the son of Charles Harvey and Helen Janice (Slocum) LaClair.

Charles worked for Knights TV & Appliance, Cecil's Television Repair, and then at A-1 TV, where he was employed for over 25 years. He loved to play pool and enjoyed competing in tournaments. He also enjoyed playing video games. Charles served his country honorably in the United States Air Force through the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 642 of Sedalia.

He is survived by a son, Gabriel A. LaClair of Sedalia; a daughter, Amy Homan of Sedalia; three grandchildren, Alexis, Kayla, and Wyatt; one great-granddaughter, Ryder; and several cousins.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Leet; and a baby brother in infancy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sedalia.

The family will receive friends at the chapel one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Donald Knox, Donovan Simms, Jason Kreisel, Larry Kreisel, Dennis Humphrey, and Jack Slocum.
