Charles Clifford Hopkins, 76, of Sedalia completed his life on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.  He was born on January 5, 1940 in Sedalia, Missouri the son  of Frank W. and Jessie M. (Eubank) Hopkins, who preceded him in death.

On October 2, 1993 in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Norma Franklin, who survives of the home.

Cliff was a member of Katy Park Baptist Church where he taught the Seniors Sunday School. He was a teacher at Applewood School. He drove a school bus for the Sedalia and Warsaw school districts. Cliff enjoyed reading history and conservation books, being outdoors and fishing. He loved children and spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife Norma, he is survived by a daughter, Tammy Lindsay-Howell (Alfred) of Chattanooga, TN; a sister, Charlotte Jobe (Stan) of Sedalia; three grandchildren, Justin, Olivia, and Quentin; one great grandson, Timothy David Hopkins; four step children, Vickie Wyant (Doug) of Belgrade, MT, Dennis Stevson (Andrea) of Sedalia, Randy Stevson (Melva) of LaMonte and Ken Perry (Sarah) of Kansas City, MO; Nine step grandchildren; one step great granddaughter and one on the way.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Timothy Hopkins; and a sister.

A funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday , February 20, 2016 at Katy Park Baptist Church with Rev. Jon Church officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery, Warsaw, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Calvin Martin, Stan Jobe, Justin Hopkins, Jacob Estes, Norman Kline, and Ben Sparks.

Memorial contributions may be made to Katy Park Baptist Church in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
