Charlotte M. Eldenburg, 80, of Sedalia, died Monday, April 20, 2015.

She was born August 15, 1934, in Payette, ID, a daughter of the late Kester and Dwade (Taylor) Ausman. On September 7, 1957, in Boise, ID, she married Dr. Donald Eldenburg, who survives of the home.

She was raised and educated in Idaho. She graduated from Payette High School in 1952 and continued her education at Walla Walla College earning her degree in nursing. The Eldenburgs made Sedalia their home in July 1964. Charlotte was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and held many offices including church secretary.

Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her life focused around her family. She and Donald did everything together whether it be traveling, gardening or yard work. She was an excellent cook and she enjoyed reading, playing piano and staying active.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Dr. Steven Eldenburg (Rebecca) of Sedalia, Dr. Larry Eldenburg, of Waynesville, OH, and Dr. Curtis Eldenburg (Cynthia), of Chico, CA; two sisters, Esther Darwin, of Texas, and Janice Graham, of Oregon; and ten grandchildren, Matthew Eldenburg, Stephanie Bollinger, Victoria Eldenburg, Sarah Eldenburg, Andrew Eldenburg, Austin Eldenburg, Rachel Eldenburg, Kayla Eldenburg, Lindsey Eldenburg and Lauren Eldenburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Winifred Addison and Virginia Lucas.

Funeral service will be 2 pm, Saturday, May 2, 2015, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Al Oetman officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Sacred Gardens.

The family will receive friends 6 pm-7:30 pm, Friday, May 1, 2015, at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
