Child Injured in One-car Incident in Johnson County

A two-year-old child was injured in a one-vehicle incident that occurred in Johnson County at 12:12 p.m. Saturday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two-year-old Kobe K. Henry of Warrensburg suffered serious injuries when a 2001 GMC was placed into neutral gear, causing the vehicle to roll forward (northbound) down a hill and strike a large tree at 22 NW 210 Road, the report said.

The child was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment by Johnson County EMS.

The GMC was totaled in the accident.
