There are so many talented, creative, and passionate people in our area. In fact, we see it just about every day and it can be easy to forget. And it's not just here in Sedalia. Our neighbors to the south, Cole Camp, have some great stuff going for them this weekend!

The annual Christmas Craft Show will be held in Cole Camp on Saturday, Nov. 23. It will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lutheran School Gym and at the Jaycee Hall. This is another great way to get some unique, one-of-a-kind gifts for your family this Christmas. You can do all of your shopping and get a little something for yourself. Plus, when you make the rounds about town, you can get some great eats to keep you going.

When it comes to the handiwork of some of these vendors, it's pretty incredible. Over 50 crafters will be offering a wide variety of handmade crafts for you to purchase; ceramics, jewelry, purses, stained glass, knitted and hand-woven items, handiwork, Christmas ornaments, baked items, jams, jellies and more.

One of the best parts of the whole thing is that it's not something that's going drain your pocketbook if you just want to browse. Admission is free. Also, since it's getting to be that time of year, you can bring the kids and they'll definitely get a kick out of it as well. That's because Santa will pose with children from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., so make sure to bring your camera.

The Chamber of Commerce will be serving lunch in the Lutheran School Cafeteria. The Cole Camp merchants, antique and specialty shops and restaurants will be having their holiday open houses. Don't miss out on all the great stuff going on in Cole Camp this weekend. It's an awesome opportunity to get out of town without going and spending all your gas on one weekend. Save money, get outstanding quality merchandise and meet some friendly people. Check it out on Saturday!

Craftily yours,

Behka
