Cristopher Paul Schwermer age 30 of Sedalia passed away on July 12, 2015 in Sedalia.

He was born on August 20, 1984 in Columbia, MO son of Cris and Sherry Burkhead Schwermer. Paul graduated from Smith-Cotton High School where he medalded on the swim team. He worked for Benitz Service Company in Sedalia, the family business.

Paul loved the outdoor's, riding motorcycles and playing pool. He is survived by his father; Cris Schwermer of Sedalia, a daughter; Marlayna Schwermer of Minnesota, a brother; Joey Schwermer (Nicole) of Sedalia, a sister; Nichole Werneke (Brian) of Knob Noster, MO, a stepmother; Renee (Schwermer) Twenter, maternal grandmother; Anna Benitz of Sedalia, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded by his mother; Sherry Schwermer, maternal grandfather; Marvin Benitz, paternal grandparents; Diz and Willma Schwermer. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Schwermer, Dan Schwermer, Scott Venable, Chris Patton, Daniel Leisen and Matthew Karbinas. Honorary pallbearers will be Marlayna Schwermer, Cole Meyer, Paige Meyer, Blake Bowers, Gage Werneke, Brantley Schwermer, Charlie Daleske, Billy Daleske, Jon Schwermer, Megan Schaake, Brandon Moore, Cory Harris and Dan Smith.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial may be given to Marlayna Schwermer Education Fund with all contributions to Cris Schwermer.
