City of Sedalia Gears Up For Yard of the Month Contest

The City of Sedalia is once again partnering with the Fair City Garden Club and Show-Me Master Gardeners to host the Way to Grow, Sedalia! Yard of the Month Contest for the 2017 growing season.

Sedalia's yard of the month contest will be held during the months of May, June and July. Each month, a Way to Grow, Sedalia! Yard of the Month winner will be chosen from each of the four City of Sedalia wards. Thanks to the tremendous support of our local businesses, an overall grand prize winner will also be selected from the four ward winners and awarded a $50 gift card/certificate.

Way to Grow, Sedalia! Yard of the Month winners will receive a certificate of recognition from the Sedalia City Council, a Way to Grow, Sedalia! sign to be displayed in their yard during their award month, and recognition on the City of Sedalia’s website and social media.

Applicants will be eligible for the entire length of the contest; however, monthly applications may be accepted prior to the 10th of each applicable month.
