City of Sedalia Notes Roadway Restrictions

The Sedalia Street Department is performing maintenance work this week on area roads.

The City of Sedalia says the maintenance work is taking place on 16th St. between S. Limit Ave. to S. Barrett Ave., S. State Fair Blvd between W. Broadway Blvd to 3rd St. and maintenance will continue on S. Grand Ave. at W. 18th Street.

The work began Monday and is expected to continue through Thursday (June 14). Motorists traveling in those areas should expect roadways to be reduced to one lane and are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays.

It was noted that the roadwork is dependent on weather.
