City of Sedalia Notes Street Repair Work

The Sedalia Street Department will close some city next next week to repair stormwater infrastructure or to asphalt the roadway.

The road closures and dates include:

Monday, October 1, from 6:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.

S. Babcock Ave between E. 4th Street and E. 5th Street for stormwater infrastructure repairs (replacing culvert pipe).

12:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3 - Thursday, October 4 at 6:00 p.m.

S. Washington Ave between E. 24th Street and E. 32nd Street for installation of new asphalt.

This City of Sedalia says the work will require temporary closure of those streets and residents who routinely park along or have driveways accessing these streets will need to find alternate parking during those hours and day.

It was noted the work is dependent on weather.
