Cleaning Woman Charged With Theft From Residence

On Monday afternoon, Sedalia Police took a report from a man who said that he hired a house cleaner via Facebook to clean his house while he was at work.

He later noticed he was missing some tablets and cash from his home. He contacted the suspect, who denied any knowledge of the theft.

When later contacted by police, 37-year-old Brook N. Bale reportedly admitted to the theft during an interview. Bale was issued a summons and released.

The case is being sent to the prosecutor for review.
