Cleo DeWayne "Bud" Kidd age 69 of Sedalia passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

He was born on October 5, 1944 at Carthage, Missouri son of Delbert and Inez Marie Jordan Kidd. On January 22, 1971 in Grover City, California he was married to Darlene Dennis and she survives of the home.

He graduated at Arroyo Grande High School. He then served in the Navy during the Viet Nam Era on the USS Kitty Hawk AirCraft Carrier.

Upon returning he went to work for Western Electric and later for AT&T where he retired from. He was a Life Member of V.F.W. Post 2814 in California.

He was the first All American District 8 Commander. He enjoyed reading and traveling. He loved his family.

Besides his wife he is survived by one son; Charles A. Loucks (Brenda), one daughter; Leslie Clavier (Chris) all of Sedalia, five granddaughters; Kristen Cochran (Joe), Heather Loucks, Jamie Loucks, Madilynn Clavier and Chloe Clavier, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, two sisters; Joyce Bennett and Charlene Davidson, one brother; Delbert Kidd.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at V.F.W. Post 2591 at 2nd and Ohio with Joe Cochran officiating.

There will be Full Military Rites By V.F.W. Post 2591 at the memorial service. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project. You may leave condolences online at ewingschuttesemlerfh.com
