Clinton Man Charged With Domestic Assault

Joel Sherman, Clinton, was arrested around 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of W. 7th and charged with 4th degree Domestic Assault after Sedalia Police responded to a report of a disturbance in the area.

According to the report, spouses were arguing over property, when one bit the other in the arm.

The victim had injuries to her arm, while the suspect had injuries to the inside of his mouth. Both refused medical treatment.

Mr. Sherman was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of state charges.
