Clinton Police Officers Arrest One Man for 1st Degree Murder
Clinton Police officers arrested a suspect in connection to a triple shooting that occurred in Olathe, Kansas.
One of the subjects died from their wounds, and two others were injured.
Clinton Officers arrested the male suspect, identified as Adam Purinton, at the Applebee's restaurant, in Clinton, MO, just after midnight Thursday (Feb 23).
According to a press release from the Olathe Police Department, on February 22nd, at approximately 7:15 PM, Olathe Officers were dispatched to Austin’s Bar and Grill in the 2100 block of East 151st Street, in response to reports of gunshots being fired.
Upon arrival, officers located three adult males with gunshot wounds. The Officers aided the victims until Johnson County Med-Act arrived, and transported them to area hospitals. One of the victims later died at the hospital.
At approximately 12:40 Thursday morning, officers with the Clinton, Missouri Police Department, responded to a call for service and contacted the suspect of the shooting. Deputies took the suspect into custody. Adam Purinton is currently being held in the Henry County Jail for 1st Degree Murder.
This case is under investigation by the Olathe Police Department.
