Cole Camp Man Injured in Rollover Wreck

A 53-year old Cole Camp man was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center, after suffering injuries in a vehicle accident Thursday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident around 10:30 on Route U, just north of Cheese Creek Avenue, in Benton County.

According to the online crash report, a northbound 2003 GMC traveled off the right side of the road, struck a culvert, and overturned. The GMC came to rest on the passenger side.

The driver of the GMC, Steven L. Wampler, of Cole Camp, suffered moderate injuries in the accident. He was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center, by Cole Camp EMS, for treatment.

The crash report indicates that the GMC sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
