A Columbia Woman suffered moderate injuries in a one-car accident that occurred on westbound I-70 in Saline County just after 5:30 Thursday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Amber R. Dyer was the driver of a 2000 Honda Accord at the 77.8 mile marker when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck the cable barrier and began sliding. It then traveled off the right side of the road and struck a rock embankment.

Dyer was transported to Fitzgibon Hospital in Marshall by Saline County EMS. She was wearing a safety device, the report said.

The Honda was totaled and towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.
