Coming up Tuesday, June 5 there is a special election that will take place to decide who will sit on the new Pettis County Ambulance District.   These individuals will have the chance to establish and mold the beginnings of this new district and improve emergency services in the area.  They will get to explain their ideals on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at State Fair Community College at the Thompson Conference Center  of the Heckart Science and Allied Health Center on the State Fair Community College campus.

There have been many questions as to how this election will go since not all in Pettis County will get to vote since some fall in the Sweet Springs district and the Cole Camp district.  The questions of the polling places will be answered by County Clerk Nick Lastrada, and various candidates will answer questions as to what they can bring to the table.

Sedalia Democrat Editor Bob Satnan will moderate; Sedalia Democrat writer Dennis Rich will ask questions along with KSIS News Director Doug Sokolowski.

If you have a question for the candidates,  please let us know by commenting below, or email   doug.allen@townsquaremedia.com

KSIS will reair this forum on Tuesday morning at 8:30 AM and will provide it online as well.

Come out and be informed about your upcoming special election.
