If you've been putting off going to the dentist because of the expense or the intimidation factor.... well, those are no longer excuses. State Fair Community College’s Dental Hygiene Clinic will have a free screening from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.  January 26 in the clinic adjacent to the walking track in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus. The screening is designed for people who haven’t had much dental care and whose teeth have not been cleaned or scaled in the last five years. Patients who qualify may assist graduating Dental Hygiene students in taking their board exams in May.

Now, how do you qualify, you ask? Well, you have to be between the ages of 18-70. You also have to be able to sit in a dental chair for a few hours. If you haven't had your teeth cleaned in a few years, you're probably qualified.

Qualified candidates will receive a certificate for a free cleaning at a later date at the college’s clinic. All participants will receive free dental care products. For more information call (660) 596-7309. Don't put it off any longer.  Make your plans to head on out to the Fred E Davis!

Healthily yours,
Behka
