Counselors Help Kids Deal With Death of Classmate
Counselors at a suburban St. Louis elementary school are helping students cope with the death of a classmate.
Seven-year-old Rachel Bick was fatally struck by a car Saturday in Wildwood. She was walking with her father to a father-daughter dance at Babler Elementary School when Rachel was struck by an SUV.
Counselors gathered Monday at the school. Rachel was described as an outgoing and fun-loving child.
The driver who struck Rachel stayed at the scene and was cooperative, according to police. No arrests were made.
