Crappie Tournament and Auction to Benefit Kids Fishing and Education

June 4 is the date for the upcoming crappie tournament and fundraising auction for Kids Fishing and Education at Truman Lake. 

Registration for the tournament will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, June 3 at Everharts Outdoor Store in Clinton, and from 5-6:30 a.m. on June 4 at Cooper Creek boat ramp. The cost to enter is $100.

Fishing hours are 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Weigh in will be at Everharts Outdoor Store following the tournament. All entrants must be at Everharts by 3:30 for weigh in.

The fundraising auction will be at Everharts Outdoor Store right after weigh in. A list of auction items will be available at Kids Fishing and Education's website.

Kids Fishing and Educations' mission is to "provide kids the opportunity to fish , enjoy our natural resources and learn about conservation while providing them the opportunity to be awarded scholarships for higher education."
