Area crime reports 7-27-18

On Wednesday, Sedalia Police took a report in the 4000 block of South Limit regarding the theft of a "dissasembled car port," valued at $800. Investigation continues.


On Wednesday at 9:17 p.m., Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a small white passnger vehicle near 13th and Ohio. The driver, 29-year-old Justin Daniel Warren of Kansas City, was arrested for Driving While Suspended. His passenger, 26-year-old Kassie Grate of Grain Valley, was arrested for possession of meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both were taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.


 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested two people in Johnson County on Wednesday at 1:48 p.m. Taken into custody were 33-year-old Kenneth T. Boyer of Lincoln. He was wanted on a felony Benton County warrant and a misdemeanor Benton County warrant. He was also charged with a registration violation, no seat belt and no proof of insurance. 26-year-old Stephanie N. Cameron of Lincoln was wanted on three felony Benton County warrants and two misdemeanor Benton County warrants. According to a report, she was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center and later released.


 

The MSHP arrested 23-year-old Jack L. Parrish of Warsaw at 8:05 Thursday evening in Benton County. He was charged with felony resisting arrest, and was also wanted on a felony Blue Springs Police warrant and a misdemeanor Henry County warrant. Parrish was taken to the Benton County Jail.
