45-year-old Sedalia man arrested for shoplifting Monday

At 2:48 Monday afternoon Sedalia police arrested 45-year-old Freddie Maurice Thomas IV for shoplifting. The police report states the shoplifting took place on September the 26th, and involved $5.75 worth of merchandise. Thomas was booked and released at the Pettis County Jail with a court date.

Man suffers lacerations in an early morning dog bite incident

Around 3:40 this (Tuesday) morning Sedalia Police responded to the Bothwell Regional Health Center Emergency Room on a victim with a dog bite. The police report states the male victim had lacerations to his arms and legs. The dog attack reportedly occurred in the area of 24th and Kentucky. The identity of the owner was not known at the time of the police report.
