Cynthia Loriane Richardson, 64, of Sedalia died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Rest Haven Convalescent and Retirement Home. She was born on February 15, 1948, the daughter of John E. and Arnola (Bishop) Peterman. Cynthia and Donnie Middleton were married February 19, 1975 in Sedalia. Donnie preceded Cynthia in death on January 12, 2003. Cynthia and James Richardson married on February 28, 2009.

Cynthia attended Smith-Cotton High School. After high school she worked at Melita Day Nursery. She then did volunteer work at Four Seasons, where she was named the Volunteer of the Year. Cynthia was also a volunteer at Parkview Christian Church Preschool.

Cynthia very much enjoyed working in the greenhouse at the Sheltered Workshop.

She loved the time spent with her family, especially her niece, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by 2 sisters, Debra Williams and her husband, Dan, of Green Ridge and Sandra White and her husband, Joe, of Kansas City, MO; her brother, Paul Peterman and his wife, Kristi, of Liberty, MO; her niece, Julie Trenolone, of Kansas City, MO; 4 nephews, Dan White, of Overland Park, KS, John White, of Lee's Summit, MO, Joshua Rowe, of Grain Valley, MO and Tollie Rowe, of Sedalia and her uncle, Darrell Bishop, of Sedalia.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donnie Middleton.   Funeral services will be at 11:00AM, Friday, October, 26, 2012 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home, with Rev. Rodney Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be Dan White, John White, Joshua Rowe, Tollie Rowe, Shawn Trenolone and Daniel White, Jr. Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.
