Members of the Sedalia Visual Arts Association will soon present a new artwork exhibit at the Daum Museum.

The exhibit is entitled,“Shadows." It will be on display from May 26 - August 19 in the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art’s Goddard Gallery at State Fair Community College in Sedalia.

SFCC describes “Shadows” as a celebration of diverse artworks by members of Sedalia’s oldest visual arts organization. SVAA members are award-winning artists from throughout west-central Missouri. Selections range from paintings and watercolors, drawings and photographs, to sculptural objects in clay and metal.

SVAA members are amateur and professional area artists who provide a forum for artistic expression with the opportunity to learn from each other.

The group meets monthly for guest lectures, demonstrations, workshops, and field trips.

The hours for the Daum Museum are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.
