The 2015 Missouri State Fair opening weekend has been a great one. The fun continues today with it being military appreciation day, brought to you by Iland.

There will be free gate admission for active military, veterans & delayed entry recruits with appropriate I.D. $1 gate admission for immediate family members – spouse & dependent children. Plus $5 off carnival ride wristband for military & immediate family with coupons available at admission gate. Plus, it is the first day that everyone can get in for just $5 after 5 p.m.

The Pepsi Grandstand will take a break from the music for the Missouri Association Truck & Tractor Pull Qualifying – 10 am $12 Adults/$5 Ages 6 -12; 7 pm $15 Adults/$6 Ages 6-12; BEST VALUE: All Day Ticket $20 Adults/$9 Ages 6-12.

The Show-Me Robotics will go from 10 am until 5 pm at Assembly Hall, Coordinated by Missouri 4-H & SCOPE. Robot leagues are planning rumbles for FIRST® LEGO® League, FIRST® Tech Challenge, FIRST® Robotics Competition & VEX teams. 4-H & other groups will offer additional robot challenges, contests & demonstrations.

The State Fair Arena will feature the National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA) Missouri All-District Race, 11 am – 5 pm, which will be free to get in for this event.
