Delicious Desserts Auctioned for Sedalia Child Safe [PHOTOS]

On Tuesday night (Nov 26), I was lucky enough to participate in the Child Safe Dessert Auction at the Celebration Center in Sedalia. It was a great event that raised over $5,000 for the Child Safe program of Central Missouri.

Everyone in attendance was extremely generous, and the desserts were auctioned off for some amazingly high prices, Right off the bat, an apple pie went for over $400. I contributed 30 Oreo Truffle Balls that sold for $90, but my friendly rival Stephanie Lefevers defeated me; her Apple Walnut Cake was auctioned off for $115.

It was a lot of fun, the food was delicious, the auctioneers made it a lot of fun, the desserts were beautiful, and it was all for a great cause. Check out pictures of some of the amazing desserts below!
