Dennis Lee “Denny” Dawson, Jr., 38

Dennis Lee "Denny" Dawson, Jr., 38, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014, at his home.

He was born January 14, 1976, in Portsmith, VA, son of Dennis Lee Sr. and Rita Denise Shoemaker Dawson.

Denny enjoyed fishing, playing on his computer, but especially spending time with his nieces and family. He was a Chiefs and NASCAR fan.

Surviving are his parents, of Sedalia; his sister, Crystal Perkins (Curtis), of Columbia; his nieces, Lilly and Addy; and his dog, Willow.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Ethel Shoemaker, and Leroy and Virginia Howard.

No services are planned. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
