Dennis R. Raabe, 91, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.   He was born April 3, 1921, in Norfolk, NE, son of Walter R. and Alma Hattie Schilling Raabe. On May 18, 1947, in Stanton, NE, he married Lois E. Schultz, who survives of the home.   Mr. Raabe served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a farmer throughout his life, but was best known for delivering milk house-to-house. He also worked in maintenance at State Fair Community College. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and the American Legion. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, tending his yard and playing cards. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.   In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Nancy Elaine (Raabe) Reinwald, and husband, George, of Concordia, and Peggy Sue Raabe, of Sedalia; nine grandchildren, Angie, Tyler, Dana, D.J., Kris, Amanda, Gena, April and Nathan; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine Lineberry, of Chillicothe, and Waverleen Luxa, of Berkley, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons, Ross Robert Raabe and Dennis Eugene Raabe.   Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church, with Pastor Chris Kellogg and Pastor Andrew Tessone officiating.   Casket bearers will be Tyler Wake, D.J. Wake, Nathan Wake, Robert Schlender, Art Poort and Brian Hogan.   Honorary bearers will be Johnnie and Sherry Swearngin, Francis and Bonnie Burks, Carl and Crystal Mittelhauser, Paul and Bonnie Wilkens, Ralph and Helen Kreisel, and Robert and Dorothy Poort.   Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with full military honors by the U.S. Army and VFW Post 2591.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Heckart Funeral Home.   Memorial contributions are suggested to Our Savior Lutheran Church.   Condolences may be offered at www.heckartfuneralhome.com.
