Dolores D. Hodge, 82, of Windsor, Missouri, died unexpectedly, Sunday morning, August 5, 2012, at her home in Windsor.

She was born December 17, 1929, in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of George Frederick Dreis and Mary Esther (Morris) Dreis. On October 14, 1949, in Kansas City, Mo., she married William Harold "Bill" Hodge and they were married for 51 years. He preceded her in death December 8, 2000.

Dolores worked at the International Shoe Factory in Windsor for 24 years, retiring when the factory closed. She later worked at the American Family Insurance office in Windsor for a number of years before her retirement.

Dolores enjoyed playing cards with her friends and attending TOPS meetings every week. She also enjoyed cooking, baking pies, crocheting and quilting. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Windsor.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Hodge and his wife Linda; and Larry Hodge and his wife Cindy, all of Sedalia, Mo.; 3 grandchildren, Phil Hodge, Matt Hodge, and Brent Hodge; a great-granddaughter, Ellie Hodge; 2 sisters, Juanita Hendrix, Rockford, Illinois; and Norma Bell and her husband Edgar, Berthoud, Colorado; a brother, Don Dreis and his wife Gerry, Gladstone, Mo.; 3 sisters-in-law, Frances Hodge, Anna Marie Young and Esther Neighbors, all of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Dolores was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Dreis.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2012 at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Rev. Clif Dudley officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor.
