Dorothy Elinor White, 91
Dorothy Elinor White, 91, died Friday, July 20, 2012 at her residence.
Born June 3, 1921 in Salisbury, MO, the daughter of James and Tenah Hardgrove. She graduated from Christian College in 1941 and Northeast Missouri State University in 1942 with a B.S. in Music Education. She married Dr. Ira White on August 22, 1942 in Salisbury, MO. From 1969-1979 she managed Maplewood Bible & Book Store in downtown Sedalia, MO.
Surviving are a daughter, Leesa Coley and husband, Timothy, of Swanton, OH; a son, Steven White of Greenville; two grandchildren, Steve and Sarah Coley and Katie Coley; and two great grandchildren, Julia Ann and Joseph Swain Coley.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service following at Heckart-Gillespie Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens.
