On Thursday 10/22/2015 at approximately 2:10 PM, Officers with the Sedalia Police Department performed a traffic stop on a green Honda passenger car. Detectives with the Drug Enforcement Unit responded to assist with the traffic stop. The traffic stop took place in the 2400 block of West Broadway Boulevard. There were four adults in the vehicle. One subject in the vehicle attempted to flee from the car, while a second subject threw drug contraband from the car.

The four subjects in the vehicle were detained. Computer checks revealed that two subjects had active warrants. A search of the subjects and the vehicle revealed methamphetamine, marijuana, drug packaging materials/supplies and drug paraphernalia.

At the conclusion of the investigation, three adults were arrested for various charges, and one adult was released without charges. The suspects and their charges are listed below. Formal charges were later filed by Pettis County Prosecutors.

1.     Jeffrey R Miller – 51 years old of Sedalia:

a.     Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute

b.     Possession of Methamphetamine

c.     Possession of Marijuana

d.     Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

i.     Issued a $250,000 bond for the above charges

e.     Parole Absconder Warrant with No Bond

f.     Pettis County Warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine with a $100,000 Bond

2.     Anjelica S Walker – 25 years old of Sedalia:

a.     Distribution of Methamphetamine

b.     Possession of Methamphetamine

c.     Possession of Marijuana

d.     Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

e.     Tampering with Physical Evidence

o     Issued a $100,000 bond for the above charges

f.     Parole Absconder Warrant with No Bond

3.     Garrett C Green – 25 years old of Sedalia:

a.     Possession of Methamphetamine

b.     Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

i.     Issued a $1,500 bond for the above charges
