Drug Enforcement Unit Serves a Drug Related Warrant on Wednesday

According to a Sedalia Police Department Press Release, on Wednesday the 4th of February the Drug Enforcement Unit, Criminal Investigation Bureau along with Patrol Officers, and the K9 Unit of the Sedalia Police Department executed a drug related search warrant at 1505 South Barrett. Entry to the home was reportedly forced through the front door of the residence where three adults were located and detained without incident.

The press release states a detailed search of the residence revealed a measurable amount of high grade marijuana, an assortment of schedule 2 and schedule 4 prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, and drug packaging supplies and materials. Also according to the press release additional evidence was gathered that indicated marijuana, and prescription pills (controlled substances) were being distributed from the residence by one of the subjects living in the home.

The press release states at the conclusion of the investigation one subject was arrested for multiple drug related charges, and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges.

At the time of the press release 17-year-old Kayden Rasmussen was in the Pettis County jail pending requested charges of:

Distribution and Delivery of a Controlled substance (Synthetic Narcotics)
Possession of a Controlled Substance
Possession of Marijuana with the intent to Distribute
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Unlawful transaction with a Child
