According to a press release from the Sedalia Police Drug Enforcement Unit, at 6:36am Thursday morning Detectives and Officers of the Sedalia Police department executed a no-knock, drug related search warrant at 1501 East 9th. Upon arrival officers forced entry to the residence, and found four adults and a small child. The press release states all four adults were detained, and a fifth adult, that arrived was also detained. During a search of the residence officers located methamphetamine, cocaine,crack,marijuana, marijuana concentrated wax, controlled pills, drug packaging materials and supplies, drug paraphernalia, a prohibited style of weapon, and cash suspected of being profit from drug sales. The press release states it is the second time in as many years a drug related search warrant has been served at the address; based on that and other information the residence has been classified as a public nuisance drug house. The owner of the residence, 50-year-old Lisa E. Carlock was charged for the felony violation of maintaining, and keeping such property. Following the investigation four of the adults were arrested. The fifth adult was released, and the child was released to a family member. Those arrested include:

50-year-old Lisa E Carlock of Sedalia who faces multiple drug related charges including possession, and possession with intent to distribute various drugs. She is also charged with 2nd degree child endangerment, and unlawful transaction with a child. Bond was set at $250,000 cash or surety.

62-year-old John Strunk of Sedalia faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, 2nd degree child endangerment, and unlawful transaction with a child. Bond set at $1500 cash or surety.

44-year-old Mary E. Brockman of Malta Bend is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a prohibited weapon. Brockman also was found to have a Saline County Warrant on a charge of trespass with a $250 cash only bond.

54-year-old Sheila L. Humphrey of Sedalia was found to have an active warrant on a probation violation  out of Pettis County for possession of drug paraphernalia with a total bond of $1850.

The press release states all four of the suspects were transported to the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges.
