On Monday, Daniel L. Moss, 52, Olathe, Kan., was arrested after Sedalia Police responded to suspicious activity at Murphy, USA, 3204 W. Broadway. The caller stated a man tried to sell him drugs. The suspect was handcuffed and placed in a patrol car while his vehicle was searched. Officers found 90 grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending state charges of 1st degree Trafficking in Drugs, Distribution of Synthetic Narcotics and Driving While Suspended or Revoked.

Jesse Robert Smith, 49, homeless, was arrested Monday evening after Police observed an intoxcated subject enter Break Time, 318 W., Broadway. Smith was previously issued a written warning for trespassing at the busines. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hpold, pending charges.

Brandon Ross Smith, 29, Sedalia, was arrested for third degree Domestic Assault. The report said that the victim had a cut to her leg and claims the suspect hit her with a bicycle. Smith was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges.

Cruz Escobar, 18, Sedalia, was arrested after a traffic stop at 32nd and Park on Monday afternoon. He was wanted on four outstanding warrants out of Pettis County. His total bond was set at $520.

On Sunday afternoon, Dalton Wright, 22, Sedalia, was arrested by Sedalia Police for stealing after a Trek X Caliber bicycle belonging to the victim was allegedly stolen from the 1200 block of S. Lamine and pawned at Family Pawn. The suspect was later located and arrested pending a state charge of stealing.
