Edith King Crnic, 93, of Sedalia, Mo, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born October 22, 1918, in Sturgeon, MO, the daughter of James and Lotta (Brown) King. On June 7th, 1936, she married Fred Joseph Crnic who preceded her in death on September 19, 1973.

Edith was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. For many years she worked as the fashion manager for Montgomery Wards. She also worked many years for Interstate Studios in the finance area. She was a member of Jolly Elders. She liked to sew, cook, and take care of her plants and dog, read, and watch TV, especially mysteries and Westerns.

She is survived by two children: Dr. Gary King Crnic and wife Sandra of Russell, KS and Gail Regina Perkins and husband Dennis of Crystal MN: three granddaughters: Dr. Tracy Crnic of Amarillo, TX, Dr. Tarrie Crnic of Manhattan, KS, and Christina Perkins of Crystal, MN; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Rosary and visitation will be at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel on Monday, September 24, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Sedalia, MO. Memorials contributions are suggested to Sacred Heart Church or the Sedalia Animal Shelter, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel--519 South Ohio Street, Sedalia, MO. Pallbearers are Dennis Perkins, Leonard Butler, Jackie Butler, Bob Burk, Dr. William Woolery, and William Bell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
