Edwards, who has been City Administrator for over six years, has accepted the City Management position in Aransas Pass, Texas on the Gulf shore.

“I’m leaving Sedalia knowing that there is a great Community, Mayor and Council and City Staff here. Much has been accomplished in the past six years,” said Edwards, “but only because everyone worked together."

Edwards further pointed out that a community thrives when it has a Mayor and Council that work well together, and that certainly is the case in Sedalia.
