Emma Evelyn “Emmie” O'Brien, 60, of Otterville, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at her home.

She was born March 1, 1954. On September 27, 1996, in Syracuse, she was married to Daniel Ray O'Brien, who survives of the home.

Emmie worked as a truck driver. She enjoyed her two cats, Boo and Minner, riding Harleys and doing yard work.

In addition to her husband, survivors include three daughters: Kim Wood  (Jeff), of Redding, CA, and Christina Porras (Effrain) and Samantha Wolsky (Jamie), both of Shasta Lake, CA; six grandchildren: Carmen Porras, Lucy Porras, Taylor Wood, Mason Wood, Faith Wolsky and Hope Wolsky; a stepson, Tom O'Brien (Lori), of Toledo, OH; a stepdaughter, Cindy O'Brien, of Syracuse; five step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepson, Tim O'Brien.

Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Otterville, with the Rev. Harold Nicks officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be later in Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Syracuse.

Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
