There will be an auction at the American Legion in Sweet Springs.It'll take place on May 3 at the American Legion Building Post #279. It starts at 7:00 a.m. with breakfast: eggs, ham, sausage, biscuits and gravy, orange juice, milk and coffee for a free will donation. The auction begins at 9:00 a.m. sharp with items donated including: Kansas City Royals tickets, Powell Gardens tickets, Kansas City Chiefs tickets, Kansas City Zoo admissions, a 32 inch flat screen TV, and many more items from local businesses.
