Camp Blue Sky is excited to announce Milton Gray and Vanessa and Rodney Gibbs as our guest artists for Jambo African Arts Adventure. Milton Gray's performance of African culture and storytelling will teach the importance of oral communication in traditional African life. His focus will be on the storytelling tradition of the Ashanti People of West Africa, home of Anansi the Spider. The Gibbs will teach students concepts and techniques of West African dance from Mali to Senegal. Students will learn dances that honor kings and queens, celebrate weddings, and begin harvests. The African Dance will be on July 31 at noon, in the Thompson O Sullivan Studio Theatre.  2014 Camp dates: July 28 - August 1.  Kindergarten both AM and PM is now closed, Preschool #1 is now closed, Limited availability in Cloud Nine. Camp Blue Sky is a fine and performing arts day camp. We have been enriching children with classes in painting, sculpting, writing and movement for one creative week on the State Fair Community College Campus located in Sedalia, MO since 1998.
