Additional Information

David Halen, a Sedalia audience favorite, was last in Sedalia five years ago and it is time for him to return to celebrate with us the Symphony’s 80th season.  Mr. Halen’s past performances in Sedalia have been as soloist, but on this occasion he will share the stage with four fellow members of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra for a performance you will not want to miss.

Mr. Halen, Concertmaster with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, is living a dream that began as a youth the first time he saw the St. Louis symphony Orchestra perform in Warrensburg.  he didn’t have to look far for his musical influences.  his father, the late Walter J. Halen, was also his violin professor at Central Missouri State University, his mother was a former member of the Kansas City Symphony and his older brother, Eric Halen, is Associate Concertmaster of the Houston Symphony Orchestra.

We are very pleased to welcome back to Sedalia David Halen, along with his friends.
