The annual Festival of German Music and Song will be held in Cole Camp on Saturday, June 9, in the Jaycee Gardens in downtown Cole Camp.
The festival will begin at 2 p.m. and will offer a wide variety of music with singing groups from St. Louis, Kansas City and Cole Camp. The Loehnig German Band from Hermann will also have a feature in the program.
Following the program, they will be playing great polkas and waltzes into the evening for your listening and dancing pleasure.
Prior to the program, at 1:30 p.m., a wreath-laying ceremony will be held at Cole Camp’s Immigrant Memorial.
