A fish fry to benefit Friar Deusdedit Mulokozi, C.PP.S., who served the Catholic community in Pettis County in 2014-15, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26 at the Knights of Columbus Hall Council 831, 1708 Elm Hills Blvd.
There will be fried fish, fried potato crisps, honey-baked beans and cornbread for $13 each at the door. Cost is $6 at the door for children ages 5-10. Kids 4 and under eat free. There will be coffee, tea and lemonade drinks available.
Adult advance tickets for $11 ($5 for kids) are available at Bryant Motors, 2901 S. Limit, McLaughlin Funeral Chapel, 519 S. Ohio, Sacred Heart Church Rectory, 421 W. 3rd and Warehouse Tire, 4004 S. Limit.
