Mikal Sue’s Miracle Run May 7 at Drake Harbor

The fifth annual Mikal Sue's Miracle Run will be held at 9 a.m. May 7 at Drake Harbor in Warsaw.

The event will feature a 5K run and a two-mile walk, as well as a new 10-mile bike course.

Preregistration is $25 (Preregistration guarantees a T-shirt), $30 on the day of the event.  Registration will take place from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m.

Mikal Sue was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome (MPS IIIA) in June of 2010. Mikal is a typically progressing Sanfilippo child. Which means her life expectancy is 10-13 yrs. old. There are no treatments or cures for Sanfilippo.
