The Punchline Players, a newly formed Theatre Arts improvisational comedy troupe at State Fair Community College, will present improv comedy shows at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2 and Dec. 1 in the Thompson O’Sullivan Studio Theatre on the Sedalia campus.

The shows are free. No tickets are needed.  The six-member group will perform in the comedy style of the television show, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” The players perform short scenes, usually based on a game, structure, or idea, including audience suggestions. Members include Heather Hill, Versailles; Sarah Hill, Versailles; Devin Ersery, Kansas City; Shawn Cahail, Camdenton; Alex Wilson, Warsaw; and James Sheppard Knob Noster. A Theatre Arts alum will serve as mystery host each evening. The Flatliners improv troupe from Missouri Valley College also will perform. The shows are for mature audiences only.
