Veteran’s Day Parade and Ceremony

We would like to get the word out so we can have a large number of Veterans present to honor them for their service.  The ceremony is sent by video to all schools in the district.  The Smith-Cotton High School JROTC  will host a Veterans Day breakfast and ceremony on 11 November  at Smith-Cotton High School to honor all Veterans and thank them for their service.  Breakfast will start at 7:45 am, with the ceremony to begin at 8:45 am.  During the ceremony each Service will be recognized by the playing of the respective Service Hymn.  While the Service Hymn is played, we ask that all Veterans who served in that Service to stand and be recognized. All Veterans and their spouse or guest are invited to attend.  In order to properly plan for the breakfast and seating, we ask that attendees RSVP to the JROTC office at 660-851-5317.  There will be a Parade  beginning at the Smith Cotton Junior High School at 3:30.  Anyone who would like to b
